HOT ROD HARLEY-DAVIDSON® RECEIVES
PRESTIGIOUS INDUSTRY AWARDS
Hot Rod Harley-Davidson was awarded Harley-Davidson Motor Company’s Bar & Shield Circle of Recognition Award for the 2010 calendar year. Hot Rod Harley-Davidson earned the award for the Central Region based on their motorcycle and related product sales performance, an evaluation of customer service and satisfaction, and various operational measures. Only 125 Harley-Davidson Dealerships (out of 700) are awarded a Bar & Shield Award each year.
“One of the primary reasons the Harley-Davidson brand has such a tremendous customer loyalty is because of the efforts of dealers such as Hot Rod Harley-Davidson,” said Mike Kennedy, Harley-Davidson’s Vice President of North American Sales. “We’re really proud to have them as part of the Harley-Davidson family.”
Hot Rod Harley-Davidson has also been named a Dealernews Top 100 dealer for the second year in a row. The Dealernews Top 100 Awards recognizes powersports dealerships for their achievements in retail design and merchandising, marketing, e-commerce, customer service, community involvement and general business management. The competition is the industry’s largest, longest running and most prestigious retail excellence competition. It includes powersports dealers from all across the United States and Canada.
Hot Rod Harley-Davidson owners Mark Campbell and Carl Miskotten purchased the historical Harley-Davidson dealership in downtown Muskegon (formerly known as Snell’s H-D®) in August of 2005. Two years later they built a new 40,000 sq. ft. facility ˝ mile away on Shoreline drive (US Bus. 31) and moved the dealership.
Hot Rod Harley-Davidson is proud to accept these prestigious awards from the Harley-Davidson Motor Company and Dealernews. They credit the ongoing success of the business to the strong motorcycle community in Muskegon, fantastic customers and to their staff’s commitment to customer satisfaction.
